Dr. Gorlitsky is a Family Medicine physician, fellowship trained in Adolescent Medicine, who serves primarily low income, immigrant, and homeless individuals in community clinics. She learned forensic examination from PTV’s founder, Dr. Jose Quiroga and is certified in the Harvard Program in Refugee Trauma’s Global Mental Health Program in Refugee Trauma and Recovery, recently completing the Masterclass in “Empathy, Storytelling, and the New Humanistic Psychology.” She precepts Ambulatory Medicine for medical students and residents and teaches physical diagnosis and “The Art of Service and Social Justice,” a medical school (USC-KSOM) elective analyzing community project participation. Chair of Bioethics at California Hospital, she edits the newsletter for Southern California Bioethics Committee Consortium. She makes service trips to Central America, Asia, and Africa and is Scout Master for an inner city Boy Scout troop.
